04 · AI DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
How an AI build runs.
Three steps, and the first one is the one that saves you money. Most build requests that reach me should be smaller than they arrive.
AI is the engine underneath all three. It writes the first pass, keeps the tests honest, and catches the regression a person would find a week later, which is why one builder finishes what used to take a team. Every decision on your project is mine.
You get a working thing at the end of each step, not a status update.

Scope
I sit with the process as it runs today, write down what actually has to happen, and cut everything that was on the wish list instead of the critical path. If an existing product already does it, I say so here.

Build
The first working version, in your repository, deployed where you can use it. Small releases you can react to instead of one reveal at the end, because the first version is always wrong somewhere.

Ship
Live, with your team trained on it, monitoring on it, and the code and hosting in your name. Then the monthly work is fixes and the next piece, filed with the date it went out.

What an AI build costs.
$1,000 a month. Software is one service, the same as search or your website, and two services are $1,799 a month while three are $2,499.
No setup fee, no onboarding fee. The first month is priced like every other month. Third-party costs stay yours and go straight to the vendor: hosting, model usage, whatever the tool needs to run.
Three months, because nothing real happens faster. If there is no movement by month three, you leave. Month to month after that.
The guarantee is the work and the record. Every issue gets a date the day I find it, every change is logged, and a one-pager lands every month. That is a promise about what you can see, not about what the software will earn you.
You own the repository, the deployment and the accounts from the first commit, so nothing built here is hostage to whether you keep paying me.
