AI QUALITY ASSURANCE
A Robot Catches The Defects.
Speed is what creates the defect, so catching it is a structural job here. The person reviewing your work is looking at something already clean.

at a glance
An eight-phase deliverable pipeline with five deterministic gates that forces every AI-produced client deliverable through a source audit, a fresh-context baseline, a review by an agent that did not write it, and a rendered check on the live page before a human signs off, so quality assurance is a structural process instead of a hope.
- who has it
- Any team that lets AI produce client-facing work: agencies, in-house marketers, and anyone who puts a brand on the output.
- the pain
- The operator becomes the defect-catcher of last resort. Speed creates volume, volume creates defects, and a human ends up reviewing everything line by line, which erases the speed.
- cost of doing nothing
- An off-scope recommendation, an invented statistic, or a page with fake logos reaching a client erodes trust faster than slow work ever would. One bad deliverable costs more than ten slow ones.
01 · WHY AI WORK SHIPS BROKEN
Why AI work ships broken.
The speed is exactly what created the defect. The fix is not a better prompt or a newer model.
Speed without a quality process does not save time. It moves the cleanup to the worst place, in front of the client.
02 · WHAT THE 8-PHASE PIPELINE DOES
How the 8-phase pipeline works.
Every deliverable I produce runs the same eight phases in order: a landing page, an ad, a script, an email sequence. No phase is skipped, and each has one named owner and one output.
03 · WHY A DIFFERENT AGENT REVIEWS THE WORK
Why a different agent reviews the work.
The rule that matters most: the thing reviewing the work is never the thing that built it. An author is structurally blind to its own errors, the way a writer cannot proofread their own draft.
At phase five a different agent reads only the locked constraints and the draft. The writer's reasoning is withheld, and it returns a findings list. It has no stake in the draft, so it is free to say what is wrong.
That is the part people joke about, a robot checking a robot, and it is why the work does not arrive broken.
04 · HOW TO STOP AI SHIPPING FAKE CONTENT
How I stop AI shipping fake content.
On 2026-04-29 a landing page reached me marked done. It carried fake gradient shapes standing in for client logos, empty elements labeled as avatars, and a notification element whose container had collapsed to nothing.
A deterministic code check had cleared it, because a code check looks for broken markup, not for whether the content is real. I had become the defect-catcher of last resort.
05 · DETERMINISTIC QUALITY GATES
The five deterministic quality gates.
Before a line is written, five gates fire and block work that is off-doctrine.
One confirms the recommendation is inside the signed engagement and flags anything that would cost you money you never agreed to. One requires every dollar figure to trace to a source captured that day. One confirms the work targets the right buyer, and one red flag from either signer halts the piece. One scores social content against current platform rules. One catches broken funnel triggers before they reach a live form.
Each fires automatically so it cannot be forgotten, and every override is written to disk with a name on it. Any quality axis that is nobody's job becomes the operator's job, and I would rather it be a robot's.
06 · WHY THE HUMAN REVIEWS TASTE
Why I review taste, not defects.
The structure exists to free the person for the one thing only a person does well: judging whether the work is good, not whether it is broken.
Quality gates and approval gates are separate. The gates are mechanical, instant and non-waivable, and they catch defects. The human is the taste reviewer of already-clean work, never the defect reviewer of raw work.
That is the trick to shipping this fast. The gates are the safety net, so the person moves at the speed of approval instead of the speed of inspection. Every gate was born the day a real defect got through, which makes this scar tissue rather than theory.
