WEDDING GUEST PHOTO APP
Guest Footage Reaches You Automatically.
I built the app and the delivery myself, and the footage arrives in your own Drive while the reception is still running, so you can check it rather than take my word for it.

at a glance
A no-install guest-upload app that delivers into your own Drive.
- the problem
- At a wedding the best candid moments are shot by guests on their own phones, not by the paid filmmaker who cannot be in every room at once.
- who has it
- Wedding filmmakers and videographers, and downstream the couple whose film is missing every guest-side angle.
- the pain
- Guest footage almost never reaches the filmmaker. Texting breaks on large video files, AirDrop only works inside Apple's world and needs the filmmaker physically present, and digging through tagged posts afterward loses the candid shots entirely and arrives weeks late.
- cost of doing nothing
- The final film is missing the second-camera coverage that makes it feel complete. The filmmaker either delivers a thinner film or burns post-production time chasing footage that may never arrive.
01 · HOW TO COLLECT WEDDING PHOTOS FROM GUESTS
Guest footage never reaches the filmmaker.
The best moments at a wedding are not the ones the paid filmmaker catches. They are the ones guests catch on their phones: the tear during the toast, the dance-floor angle from the back table, the reaction shot the main camera missed.
That footage almost never reaches the filmmaker. Texting breaks the moment a clip runs long. AirDrop only works inside Apple's world and only if you are standing right there. Email, shared albums and tagged posts mean files trickle in days or weeks late, if at all.
So the filmmaker either delivers a thinner film or spends post-production chasing footage that may never show up.
02 · QR CODE PHOTO UPLOAD WEDDING
How a guest uploads.
Moments is the branded guest-upload app I built for My Vegas Love Story, a wedding-film studio in The Valley. There is a QR code on each table. A guest scans it, lands on a page built for that specific wedding, and uploads straight from the phone browser.
No app store, no account, no password. Every extra step at a live event is a guest who gives up before uploading.
A clear prompt at the top reminds guests to hold the phone sideways, and the upload button stays pinned to the bottom of the screen so it is one tap away no matter how far they scroll. The whole thing wears the couple's brand, so it reads as part of the night.
03 · WEDDING PHOTO SHARING APP
Footage lands in your own drive.
Every file lands first in secure cloud storage, so the upload succeeds instantly even on a bad reception wifi signal.
Then, every two minutes, a background job finds the new files and streams them straight into the filmmaker's own Google Drive, into a folder named for that event. Nothing to log into, nothing to download, nothing to export out of somebody else's platform. The footage appears, sorted by wedding, while the reception is still happening.
That delivery was proven end to end against a real event folder before the app went live, and then it ran on a real wedding.
04 · WHY GUEST PHOTO APPS FAIL
Why guest photo apps fail.
Most guest-photo tools fail for one reason. They ask the guest to do too much. Download this. Create an account. Grant these permissions. Join this album.
Every one of those is a place where a guest at a party, three drinks in and ready to dance, decides it is not worth it. The only thing a guest touches here is the QR code, and the only thing they do is upload.
05 · DOES A QR CODE WORK IN LOW LIGHT
The QR code and layout details.
Building something that works in a demo is easy. Building something that works at a real wedding, in real reception lighting, with real guests, is where the craft is.
The branded QR code went through a decode test before it was ever printed. The first version, orange on black, failed the scanner under low light, so it was rebuilt in a high-contrast deep-on-cream palette that reads reliably on a dim, candle-lit table. A build-time check refuses to ship the app if any page or asset is left dangling.
None of that is visible to a guest, and that is the point.
06 · WHAT A BUILD LIKE THIS COSTS
What a build of this size costs.
A build like this sits inside the AI systems line, which is $1,000/month. Same number I quote everybody, and it is printed here instead of held back for a call. Two services together are $1,799 and three are $2,499. No setup fee.
No setup fee, three months, then month to month, and you own the app, the storage and the delivery. If you leave, the capture experience leaves with you.
07 · COMMON GUEST UPLOAD QUESTIONS
Guest upload questions.
Do guests need to download an app?
Where do the photos and videos go?
How fast does the footage arrive?
Will the QR code scan at a dim reception?
Can this work for something other than a wedding?
08 · GET FREE AUDIT
Get a free audit.
If the best footage of your event is sitting on other people's phones and never reaching you, that is a delivery problem, not a camera problem.
I crawl your whole site, score it 0 to 100, and send a ranked list of what is costing you customers. About a day. No call needed.
If the fix is not something I do, I will say so.
who did the work

I build the odd one-off too, when the job needs it.
Fourteen years here, and the client names are printed on the work page.
You talk to me, and I do the work.
