MASCOT BRAND DESIGN
A Brand People Remember.
I designed the mark and the character myself, and every asset is locked to a canon file you can check instead of a style somebody remembers differently each time.

at a glance
A full logo family plus a canon-locked mascot built as one system.
- the problem
- A local-service brand has seconds to be recognized and a lifetime to be forgotten. Owners spend on a logo and copy, then blend into a category of identical service brands nobody can recall by name.
- who has it
- Local-service businesses and the people who brand them: home services, trades, local pros, any owner-operated company competing on a crowded map and a more crowded inbox.
- the pain
- The brand is technically clean and carries no personality, so the ad scrolls past, the email gets archived, and the name never sticks.
- cost of doing nothing
- A higher cost for the same attention, no recall when a customer is finally ready to buy, and a brand that pays for every impression because it earns none on its own.
01 · WHY A LOGO IS NOT ENOUGH
Why a brand needs a character.
A local-service brand has seconds to be recognized and the rest of its life to be forgotten. Most owners buy a clean logo and vanish into a category of near-identical service brands nobody can name a day later.
A logo makes a brand legible. It does not make it memorable. So for WebVegas I built a logo family for legibility and a mascot for memory, as one system.
02 · LOGO FAMILY DESIGN
What the logo family includes.
The first layer is the logo family. A four-point star mark in a warm orange-to-red gradient, paired with a camelCase wordmark and horizontal lockups.
It is a family because a brand renders everywhere: favicon, mono email header, dark social tile, printed card. Every piece ships in color and mono, on light and dark, as vector and raster.
Casing, font and palette are locked, so the mark looks the same in a deck, a dashboard and an ad.
03 · BRAND MASCOT DESIGN
The mascot is a clay Gila monster.
The second layer is Monty. A clay desert Gila monster, rendered in warm three-dimensional claymation, with a signature purple tongue.
The species is deliberate. The Gila monster is native to the desert Southwest and distinctive enough to own outright. The clay rendering reads warm and friendly, the opposite of the slick corporate look every other vendor reaches for.
He gives the brand a face in a market full of faceless marks, built so a busy owner remembers him after the scroll.
04 · HOW TO KEEP A MASCOT CONSISTENT
How the mascot stays on model.
A mascot only works if it looks the same everywhere. The moment a character drifts, it stops being recognizable.
So Monty is built as canon, with one front door: a library holding the prompt set that regenerates him on-model, a canon lock and tongue protocol so the purple tongue is never lost, reference faces, and every shipped form of the character.
Start at the library, attach the canonical reference, never generate him from memory. That is how a character stays consistent across hundreds of assets.
05 · CHARACTER DESIGN FOR BRANDS
What the character system covers.
Monty is not one image. A brand needs its character where a flat logo cannot go.
06 · WHERE A MASCOT SHOULD NOT APPEAR
Where the mascot never appears.
One hard line. Monty and the WebVegas brand appear only on WebVegas-owned surfaces: the ads, the emails, the dashboard, the website chat, the social, the design system.
They never appear on a client's site or front desk. Those surfaces wear the client's own mark, colors and name, because a mascot that bleeds onto a client's website overwrites the thing the client is paying for.
07 · WHAT BRAND AND MASCOT DESIGN COSTS
What brand and mascot design costs.
Brand and design is $1,000/month. Same number I quote everybody, printed here instead of held back for a call. Two services together are $1,799 and three are $2,499. No setup fee.
No setup fee, three months, then month to month, and you own the vector masters, the variant set and the canon library.
08 · COMMON BRAND MASCOT QUESTIONS
Brand mascot questions.

09 · GET FREE AUDIT
A free audit is the first step.
If a customer cannot name your brand a day after seeing your ad, you are paying for every impression twice.
I crawl your whole site, score it 0 to 100, and send a ranked list of what is costing you customers. About a day. No call needed.
If the fix is not something I do, I will say so.
