INTERACTIVE PROPOSAL BUILDER

You Never Find The Defect First.

Every proposal I send is generated from one structured file and has to pass ten machine checks before it is released. You are not the person reading it for mistakes.

drop: Interactive proposal opened as a branded website instead of a PDF attachment

at a glance

An interactive proposal builder where each proposal renders as its own branded website with a live price selector, scope sections, timeline and transparency showcase, generated from a single structured input file, and nothing ships until a ten-check preflight gate writes a pass receipt confirming the proposal is on doctrine, on price and not visually broken.

the problem
Every service business has to send proposals, and a proposal is the highest-stakes document in the sale. It is the first thing a buyer reads carefully and it sets the price and scope the whole relationship is measured against.
who has it
Service businesses that send real proposals and live or die by whether they close: firms, clinics, consultants, agencies and local service operators.
cost of doing nothing
A broken or off-doctrine proposal costs the deal and the trust, and the person sending it becomes the defect catcher of last resort, reading every line before it goes out, which does not scale past a handful of deals.

01 · WHY PDF PROPOSALS FAIL

Why PDF proposals fail.

The proposal is the highest-stakes document in any sale. It is the first thing a buyer reads carefully, and it sets the price and the scope the whole relationship is measured against.

A flat file makes that moment generic. It arrives as an attachment, looks like every other attachment, and dies in an inbox where nobody can tell whether it was opened.

02 · PROPOSAL AS A WEBSITE

The proposal is a website.

Each proposal renders as its own branded website instead of a document. The buyer explores it in whatever order they want, on a phone or a laptop, and the price is something they move instead of something they hunt for.

A live price selector the buyer controls, instead of a number buried in a paragraph
Scope, consulting, managed and build sections the buyer can read in any order
A real timeline band, not a sentence claiming how long things take
A transparency showcase that shows the working system, so nobody is reading claims

03 · CLIENT PROPOSAL TOOL

How one file becomes a proposal site.

Behind every proposal is a single structured input file. It names the client, which service layers apply, the options inside the price selector, the scope sections, the timeline and the proof to show.

A generator reads that file and produces the whole branded proposal site. This is the load-bearing part: a proposal is a data edit, not a redraw.

That is what makes the quality repeatable. The proposal you receive is as good as the last one regardless of what kind of week it was.

04 · PROPOSAL PREFLIGHT CHECKS

The ten preflight checks.

No proposal reaches a client, or even reaches me for review, until ten structural checks clear and the gate writes a receipt. No receipt, no review, no deploy. The gate is a robot, so it does not get tired and it does not make exceptions late at night.

The proposal answers the five questions every buyer has: did I hear you, what is it, how does it work, what does it cost, how long
Price appears only inside the selector, never buried in the body copy
Every recurring service states its minimum term and then three months, then month to month, in plain words
Consulting, builds and managed services stay three separate layers and never blend
A reviewer with no context can name what this is, who it is for, what they get and why to trust it, in five seconds
Sections use the layout that fits their job instead of one repeated card grid
The price selector and the underlying pricing contract agree with each other
A capabilities menu shows the full range of what I do
An automated scan confirms no long dashes and no labor-time pricing language

05 · WHY THE GATE MATTERS MORE THAN THE BUILDER

Why the gate matters most.

Any tool can render a good-looking proposal. This one is different because it enforces the rules I would otherwise hold in my own head and check by hand on every deal.

Encoding those rules as machine checks moves the work off the person and onto something that runs in seconds and never gets bored. AI is the engine that makes a gate like this cheap enough to run on every document.

It is also the honest version of the auditability argument I make everywhere else on this site. If I tell you every change I make gets dated where you can read it, the document that starts the relationship had better be built the same way.

06 · PROPOSAL BUILDER FOR SERVICE BUSINESSES

Who the proposal builder is for.

Any service business whose next deal turns on the document it sends. Firms, clinics, consultants, agencies and local operators, anybody who has watched a proposal go quiet and never learned why.

The interactive format converts better than a flat file because the buyer can explore and self-select on price instead of waiting for permission. Generating from data means a tailored proposal per prospect costs almost nothing.

And the gate means the proposal is on brand, on price and structurally sound every time, so the person sending it can put their name on it without reading every line first.

07 · PROPOSAL SOFTWARE PRICING

What proposal software costs.

$1,000 a month for the AI systems line, which is where a build like this sits. Same number I quote everybody, printed here instead of held back for a call. Two services together are $1,799 and three are $2,499. No setup fee.

No setup fee. Three months, then month to month with thirty days' notice. You own the system, the templates and the data files, so you leave with a working proposal engine and nothing to rebuild.

Scope moves the total, not negotiation. One service line is five hundred a month, and adding a second applies the bundle rate to both.

08 · COMMON PROPOSAL SOFTWARE QUESTIONS

Proposal software questions.

What is an interactive proposal builder?
A system that renders each proposal as its own branded website, with a live price selector and explorable scope sections, instead of a flat file. The buyer reads, moves the price and explores the offer on a real page.
How is this different from PandaDoc or Proposify?
Those are template editors. This renders each proposal from the underlying pricing contract and forces it through a ten-check gate that enforces doctrine a generic template tool has no concept of.
What does the ten-check gate actually check?
That the proposal answers the buyer's five questions, keeps price inside the selector, holds the three-layer service model, passes a five-second cold read, uses real visuals, keeps the selector and the pricing contract in sync, includes a capabilities menu, and is clean of long dashes and labor-time language.
Why ship a proposal as a website instead of a file?
Because a page a buyer can explore, with a price they control, converts better than a static document, and because generating from data means one per client costs nothing extra.
Does the gate slow the proposal down?
No. It runs in seconds and writes a pass receipt. The slow path is shipping a broken proposal and letting the buyer find the defect, which costs the deal and the trust.
