article · AI WEB DESIGN VS TRADITIONAL WEB DESIGN

Speed Is Not TheHard Part.

Generating a site is close to free now. Deciding what belongs on it, writing something true, and making it load and convert is where the work always was. Nothing about that changed.

01 · what is ai web design

What AI web design is.

Using models to generate the layout, the code and often the copy of a website from a description. It genuinely works, and it collapses the part of the job that used to take weeks into an afternoon.

Traditional web design is the same outcome reached by a person making each decision. Slower, more expensive, and no better by default, because a bad decision made slowly is still a bad decision.

The trade is not speed against quality. It is speed against judgment. Generation is close to free, and the site is only as good as the thinking in the brief.

02 · is ai web design better than a designer

What AI generates and what people decide.

Neither is better as a category. What matters is which parts of the job are done by which, and whether anybody is checking the result.

03 · what are the risks of ai website builders

Risks of AI website builders.

The common failure is a site that looks finished and says nothing. Generated copy is fluent, generic and occasionally untrue about your business, and a page of confident filler reads worse to a buyer than a plain page of facts.

The second failure is ownership. If the site only exists inside somebody else's platform, you do not have a website. You have a subscription with a picture of one.

Read every generated sentence about your practice. Fluent and false is the standing risk.
Check it on a real phone on a bad connection, not on the desktop it was built on.
Confirm you own the domain, the hosting, the analytics and the code, with a full export available.
Make sure somebody is accountable for it in six months, by name.

04 · how much should a website cost

What a website costs in Las Vegas.

Websites is one line, and a line is $1,000 a month. That covers the design and build, ecommerce, accessibility work, conversion work, hosting and maintenance. No setup fee and no build fee, so the first month costs what every month costs.

Two lines together are $1,799. Three are $2,499. Three months, then month to month, thirty days notice, and you leave with the domain, the site, the hosting, the analytics and a full export. Nothing to rebuild.

It is priced this way because a site is never finished, and paying a large amount once for a thing that then goes stale is how most owners ended up where they are.

05 · ai web design questions

AI web design questions.

Do you use AI to build sites?
Yes, for the parts it is good at, and I say so. It is the reason one person can do this work at this price. The decisions and the words are mine, and I put my name on them.
Will my site look like everyone else's?
It will if nobody makes a decision. The sameness comes from accepting the default, not from the tool.
Do I own the site?
Yes. The domain, the site, the hosting, the analytics and every page and image, with a full export any time you ask.
What if I want to leave?
Three months, because nothing real happens faster. If there is no movement by month three, you leave. Month to month after that. Then thirty days notice in writing and you take all of it.
